I have mentioned Twitter before, but I just wanted to write about it a bit more so that if you know nothing about it you can learn a bit more and perhaps use it as much as I do.
It's a bit tricky trying to describe it but Twitter is also known as "micro blogging", you are only able to post messages which are up to 140 characters long. Twitter can be accessed by certain mobile phones, on your PC at http://www.twitter.com/ or using software on your PC called Tweetdeck. I access it all 3 ways, I have an iPhone and have a free app called Twitterific.
There are quite a few famous bod or "Tweeple" on Twitter, Stephen Fry (who ADORES technology) , Jonathan Ross, Philip Scofield, Chris Moyles, Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore, John Cleese, Andi Peters, Jenni Falconer and Holly Willoughby to name a few.
To get started log onto http://www.twitter.com/ and choose a username, all usernames are preceded by the "@" sign, I am @sjcurrie. Once you get signed up you can start to post messages and people will start to follow you and you can follow them, once you start following people you will see their messages or "Tweets" and if they follow you, they'll see what you post.

OK so this idiot went to Twitter and I haven't the first idea how it works, what I'm supposed to do, or if I really wanted a Twitter account - but thanks to you, I now have one - and it's all your fault!!! Don't put these things in my head or like a sheep I will follow the link ...now what's that facebook thing my son keeps talking about?!?!? LOL!!!

Right, I give up - cannot work this Twitter out at all, I can think of another word for it that would involve exchanging vowels - best not, you never know who's reading ....have a good weekend xx
