What can I say?

Yesterday, after a week of frantic worry, I met with a specialist and it turns out I have breast cancer.

It's a bit of a shocker to be honest. I went for a routine BUPA health MOT and they found it. It's small, it's been caught early and I am hopeful that I will get through this, there is no other way, I just have to.

So, not much else to say other than wish me luck and send me positive vibes and stories if you can, and I'll concentrate on beating this!

Oh my goodness Sam, what a shock for you. Will be sending those positive vibes, my own sister had breast cancer 5 or six years ago and like with you they caught it early, she had some chemo, radiotherapy and a lumpectomy and is absolutely fine now. Very scary for all of us at the time (she was only in her thirties) but we don't talk about it any more, as far as she's concerned it is behind her.
Keep your chin up and if you need to talk I'm always ready to listen.

Oh blimey, I'm so sorry, you've been through so much in the last couple of years and now this :( More positive vibes coming your way from me too. My mum's breast cancer got picked up in exactly the same way and she's fine now. You have youth on your side so go show this shitty disease who's boss!

But I know that with hubs and your little boy at your side and all of the positive vibes from friends you will kick this cancer in the butt.
